The joy of the Everton fans who were praying for decent attacking and attractive football after Dyche was levelled did not last long!

At least the players won’t have much adjustment to do so should hit the ground running with their new boss.

Everton are so lucky that there are probably 3 worse teams than them in the division and that they won’t need a lot of points to survive yet again. Moyes will have them block their way to safety easily enough.

I quite like and rate him.

At Everton it was an in your face direct style, midfielders fouling and trying to stop momentum. Because their fans have insisted on that for 30 years, plus a hatred of the ref and opponents. Martinez was an obvious exception.

He’s shown since he’s better than that.
