I haven't seen a thread on this yet. I am sure there are loads but frankly I feel it deserves it's own one.

In my whole football watching life I have never ever seen a bobble of such giant proportions. What the f*** happened? The ball must have leapt a good two foot in the air in an almost magical way. Must be a certaintly for Soccer AM next week.

Did a mole pop up at the wrong time? Was Merlin, Uri Geller or Mr Tickle in the Carlisle end?

Are you on about ITV highlights, Withdean, or your kickabout with Giraffe's Son in the back garden?

Withdean, Forster, second half, one on one with the keeper, MASSIVE bobble, as though a volcano had just erupted under the ball. That one.

Probably due to the uneven pitch. What amazes me is that the pitch was kicked up Tuesday night and instead of treating it Wednesday morning the team was training on it. The groundsman said on SCR that the pitch was in good shape I would hate to see one that he says is in a poor state.

It would of been, but we didn't have a shot on target all game!

Does hitting the bar count as on target? Serious question. I have had this argument down the pub many times and have never had a certain answer!

And Davies(?) definitely shot straight at the keeper with a low dribbler at some point in the second half.

I wouldn't have thought so. Surely a shot on target is one that will result in a goal unless the goalkeeper saves it. So hitting the bar or post is not on target.

f*** me, are you MA in diguise, it's because of the pitch that we are in the bottom 4. Usually, it's the ref, or maybe it's the crap ball boys!

Funny how it's always us that gets the bad luck or the bad decisions, never the opposition!

No actually, it's because weve got a idiot in charge of the team!

And that, is probably my favourite NSC post EVER.

A HUGE f*** off bobble stops Forster getting his shot away. Why's that?

"Probably due to the uneven pitch".

Well BUGGER. ME. SIDEWAYS!

What I am saying is that the ball hit a divot and if it did it was our own fault as we shouldnt have trained on it on Wednesday before it had been flattened etc.

Many of the old supporters will remember going to Selhurst and they had a car with large wheels like rollers on it and at the end of each game they drove the car up and down the pitch before any frost or bad weather could get at it.

Bar is OFF Target

And yes - that Davies shot you recall was statistically our only shot on target today
