Please forgive this very impersonal message to everyone that has has called, written, emailed, PM'd, posted on North Stand Chat, texted or sent me a Get Well card.

I have been deeply touched by all the messages that I have received, it’s what makes the Albion the fantastic Community Club that it is - and I am proud to be part of it in some small way. To receive cards from people I have never met or neither know is very humbling - and to receive cards from the Albion's Directors shows what a very special Club we are.

Huge thanks to the RSCH Cardiac Team, including top Albion fan and South Stand STH Brian Foster, who quite simply are the best. 5 hours open heart surgery and almost 6 weeks later, I am making a good recovery. Heart tumours removed and I hope to be back to my vocal best very soon!

Again to everyone who has been in touch in whatever way, thank you so much. What a Club!

Paul Samrah

I had no idea about this but delighted you're nearly back where you belong. Get weller soon!

None of your buisness
Fantastic news, i really hope things work for he best for you. After hearing about how the Albion helped you through coping with the trauma of losing your mother, it's wonderful to hear your on the mend. I myself became a lover of the Albion thanks to the difficulties and bad luck life threw at me. If it wasn't for the Albion i would of felt far more isolated than I did. You made me realise how important the Albion had been for me when I was at my lowest moments. It's very important that you reach Falmer and I'm glad that will be acheiveable. All the best x
