Cheers for that tackle on Zamora.

After watching that debacle last night I wondered what Crouch was doing on the pitch then I remembered that our magnificent PL was devoid of any decent strikers.

Now I know that there were some steamingingly crap performances by others, Johnson (G), Barry and Young but Crouch was the pinnnacle to me.

Can't help wondering if Bobby was leading the line whether his ability to bringing other players into play, his general mobility and penchant to shoot would have got is the win we needed.

We missed Defoe more in my view, Crouch is shocking. Rooney wasnt much better.

He was what England for crying out for last night.... In form, great movement, brings others into the game and looks like he wants to play well.

After improvements in Rooneys game in the last two qualifiers last night he was back to his form of the world cup. Looked lost, uninterested and without a shread of confidence
