Just found out about the stones - I am absolutely delighted. Well done to all who made their very valid views known and well done the Albion for listening. My only mini-gripe about the Amex has been sorted. Sweet.

When I commented after Reading game that they would look better in blue (with white writing), a friend pointed out how trivial such complaints would've seemed to a younger me, fighting back the Withdean rain with my seagulls poncho. Or worse still, hanging around outside the Goldstone waiting for Bellotti.

Yeah!! well done the albion for sorting out this big bug bear which upset quite a few fans , me included . and an even BIGGER THANKS !! to those dedicated fans who never gave up trying to sort this mess .

Well done for sorting this out. My grandfather, an avid Albion fan (Chickene Run 40's, 50's and early 60's) died in 1966 and in those days people did not have memorial stones when they were cremated. His stone at the AMEX is his memorial and it is a very fitting tribute and one of which he would have heartily approved of!
