It's to do with Fergie saying that City wouldn't win the title in his lifetime but it's not the smartest move by Tevez.

Made Mancini look foolish with his "he will never play for me again" quote!

Precisely I doubt Mancini will want to look foolish.

Moving on though as before long a bigger name will take charge when the time is right

mildly amusing - funnier from fans but from someone inside the football club it really looks just a bit stupid

The ugly Argie prick is only doing it to curry favour with City's more gullible supporters.

When Taggart came out with that comment, maybe he thought Mancini was going to sign an *entire team* of utter dickheads happy to walk out on contracts worth £200k a week?

It was a response to...

Ferguson: Can City be top dogs? - Premier League - Football - The Independent

Someone had asked him whether Manchester United will ever go into a derby match as underdogs and for 15 seconds or more he eyed his inquisitor, the hint of a glint in those narrow eyes, and you wondered whether that individual or Manchester City would be on the receiving end of the full force of his opinion.

"What time is it?" he said, at last. "I think it is time for me to leave."

And as he clambered from his seat, an answer to that question...

"Not in my lifetime."

On the pitch this past season has been perhaps the best ever in the Premier but off it...oh dear. What with this on top of Terry, Barton, Suarez etc it really has shown what a bunch of twits some of these player are and how much harder the clubs and the FA have to come down on them for the sake of the game.

Am I the only one who doesn't see what the problem is?

yes,yes you are. You must buy into Premier League Pantomime. You must hate Tevez and firmly believe that two men cannot put aside their differences and make up after an argument. The Premier League is not like the real world where an elbow to the face or a knee to the thigh hurts a bit but doesn't make a professional athlete fall to the floor and writhe about in agony, for a bit. We must be shocked and horrified by it all and hate all the filthy scum involved. The Reactionary Premier League sponsored by The Daily Mail.
