What point are they trying to make?

Are they trying to kill people because they don't agree with the war in Iraq and Afganistan?

Or are they set on a mission to just blow up every single non muslim in the name of Allah and religion?

I don't get what their beef is.

Its the innocent people that get caught up in this. These fools are totally ruining all the hard work done by the decent hard working Muslim community, who are probably trying really hard to get a positive message across.

I should imagine 98% of the muslim community are probably angry about what is happening, as at the end of the day it throws another bad light on their religion and directly effects them in daily life.

Why don't the world governments talk to these terrorist organisations and try and settle their differences. Tony Blair sat down with the IRA and negotiated a peace deal and these Islamic terrorists are by far more dangerous and ruthless than the IRA.

I’d rather we still faced the IRA at least they gave warnings 99.99% of the time unlike this lot who not only want to kill and maim people but want to catch the fleeing and emergency services as well.

They do not want to talk. Their sole aim is for Islam to become the religion of the world. The fundamentalists believe that they have been set this task, and they are using the oppression of the Western World, interference in Palestine/Israel invasion of Iraq, etc, as their clarion call.

Did you ever face the IRA? The IRA actually developed the technique of setting a bomb and then catching them in a funnel zone as well. I've actually got a mate who was a former IRA sniper (long story!), and he knows from first hand experience (as do I) that this "99.99%" of the time statement is bollocks. They gave late warnings, if they gave them at all, and towards the end when the factions were split, the code words that were used to verify and validate the calls were not always given. The IRA were ultimately stopped because their factions destroyed them. The current opponents do not have that problem - even if they split into factions, they are ALL willing to attack any target and lose some of their own people as they do it. The hardline IRA factions were willing to attack most targets, but not to lose their own people (hence the proxy bombers they used to use.)

Its a very difficult situation to deal with in this country. This country is great, and gives people the freedom to enjoy their religion without fear of prejudice,which in another country you would probably be hung for.

But these home grown terrorists are abusing the values which this country stands for. Just when the good people in the Muslim community are trying to get over a positive message these idiots come along and ruin all the hard work done.

So what can the goverment do?
We would all like to see these people removed and deported, but we cant because they are probably british citizens, so hopefully they will bang them up for life and teach them a lesson. To try and kill their own people is f***ing disgrace.

I just can't wait for Blair to gingerly stroll into "Palestine" and speedily solve the conflict there, somehow evenising the warring, enraged segments with a shake of hands and an agreement that it was all a bit silly really, that Christianity, or a quick switch to forgiving Catholicism was really always the true way.

I personally think there's no other way in life other than to find an enemy, an unwelcome visitor or reflection, an opposite, a set of people below us that need the lessons we've been fortunate to receive. Some are devilworshippers or wifebeaters or animal torturers or pornmakers or suicidal bombers or paedophiles or muderous cinematic copycats so unhappy with their lives they kill to turn their backs on the devil's society or Tories. All are worthy of imprisonment or public hangings. We have to find villains, preferably in blackened hats and religious fundamentalism in their flashing eyes of evil, ones we choose to simply blame without learning the why's or the how's or the is it our faults. I just find it funny that WE ever claim progress when we, including me, are so emotionally retarded.
