The Sarah Connor Chronicles On Virgin 1 - Unreality Primetime

This week sees the launch of The Sarah Connor Chronicles on Virgin 1. When the show launched in the US earlier this year, it achieved a ratings smash of over 18m viewers, giving its network Fox the strongest debut on any US network this season-to-date, beating 24’s performance in the same slot last year and trouncing the recently launched Bionic Woman on NBC by over 4 million viewers!

In fact the Sarah Connor Chronicles was the biggest drama to launch on Fox in three years, so needless to say I am expecting great things from this show.

The series begins a year after the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day with John and Sarah Connor (Thomas Dekker and Lena Headey) hiding from the government and preparing for a possible future war against the rise of the machines.

After two years of being in the same place Sarah decides that she and John need to move on, however in doing this she makes them known to FBI Agent James Ellison (Richard T. Jones) and Skynet’s army of Terminators including Cameron Phillips (Summer Glau) a reprogrammed Terminator sent to protect John.

Cameron makes contact and informs the pair that Judgment Day was not stopped as they believed, but will now take place in 2011. John convinces Sarah to fight, so Cameron takes them to a time machine the resistance has set up to take them to the year Skynet was created (2007).

I think this might be worth a SNIFF. Tonight at 10pm

The Neil Warnock Chronicles On Virgin 1 - Unreality Primetime

This week sees the launch of The Neil Warnock Chronicles on Virgin 1. When the show launched in the US earlier this year, it achieved a ratings smash of over 100 viewers, giving its network Fox the poorestest debut on any US network this season-to-date, beating "paint dryings" performance in the same slot last year and trouncing the recently launched Diary of a Bag lady on NBC by over 4 viewers!

In fact the Neil Warnock Chronicles was the dullest spectacle to launch on Fox in three days, so needless to say I am expecting dreadful things from this show.

The series begins a year after the events of Ian Dowie: Earthworm Jim, with Simon Jordan and Neil Warnock (Dale Winton and Jo Brand) hiding from the truth and preparing for a possible future battle against the inevitable late season slump.

After two years of being in the same place Warnock decides that she and Jordan need to move on, however in doing this she makes them known to Social Services Agent James Ellison (Ice T) and Sky Sports army of bored viewers including Cameron Phillips (Summer Glau) a programme seller sent to protect Jodans tan.

Cameron makes contact and informs the pair that Judgment Day is inevitable and they are doomed to mediocrity forever, or at least until 2011. Jordan needs to convince a by now drink addled Warnock to get back on his feet and believe that his team of jester outfitted clowns will ever amount to more than a pile of shite, so he and Cameron take him on a time machine, like the Tardis but made out of an old Caravan full of lucky heather, pegs and big Gypsy earrings, and journeys back to the glory days of yesteryear, however the Caravan/Tardis goes wrong and the trio land in the 6 yard box at Selhurst just as McShanes looping header flies ovehead and into the onion bag! 2007).

I think this might be worth a SNIFF. Tonight at 10pm

I like this summary better.

Kind of like putting eyeliner on a warthog isn't it.
Or carefully brushing the mane of hair on a wildebeest.
