After Federer's defeat last night, means we have a new world number one! and this is meant to be his worst surface to play on.
Sorry RM it doesn't. Not yet anyway. Rafa has to win the Cincinatti (sp?) tournament to take top spot - but it's going to happen very soon in any case.
Mr Murray was looking pretty good last night, could make the final I think but can't see him getting past Nadal, unless he has a bad day.
He doesn't have to win the whole thing? According to SSN this morning if he wins today he's the new #1 and today is the QF
SSN are right I think. If he wins his QF he will be guaranteed enough ranking points to enable him to take over from Federer.
Sky sports website says 'if he wins on Sunday', without pointing out that Sunday is the final. Seems like they are cramming the games in... last 16 yesterday, quarters today, semis tomorrow and final on saturday!
