Anyone seen these adverts for TEMU that I seem to have literally everywhere at the moment, including in the middle of every NSC thread.

Is it a scam? I saw a garden strimmer advertised for £3.06p earlier and a pair of walking boots for 46p. Can be legit?

Shop like a millionaire.

I don't think a scam, but from what I've seen you have to wait weeks for stuff. That stuff is new customer offers.

So it's basically cheap Chinese crap they'll put on a boat and send over.

Sick of the ads everywhere though

Yep - the ads follow me everywhere although, strangely, not on here.

I wasted about five minutes investigating a few weeks back. I think those ultra-cheap prices they push are for a one-time new customer and, very possibly, you have to refer a certain number of other new customers to unlock that price.

Some of the products do look genuinely quite innovative, although I suspect they would be all found on Amazon etc too - it’s just a matter of knowing they exist to look for them.

The most curious thing..
But very irritating ads and pop ups, especially on a phone screen.

I've got some stuff from there and on the whole it's been decent; an excellent multi tool for pennies. Shades were a bit meh but they were only £2.

Takes longer than Amazon to arrive but not several weeks

I've bought a shed load of stuff over the last few months. 99% happy with quality.
The 1% of stuff I'm not happy with, is because they don't sell it and I have to get it from Ali-express!
