Points will be awarded and deducted as follows: Player appearance for full match +2, player appearance for part of a match only +1, goal scored +5, key contribution to a goal +3, sent off -5, yellow card -2 (2 yellow cards leading to a red card will count -5), own goal -3. For defenders and goalkeepers only: clean sheet (players completing full match only) +4, clean sheet (players completing part of a match only) +2, goal conceded -1. For goalkeepers only: penalty save +5 (for these points to be awarded the goalkeeper must have touched the ball with some part of his body). All matches played in the FA Premier League season 2003/04 and the FA Cup 2003/04 competition will count from Saturday 16th August 2003 until and including the final matches in the FA Premier League and FA Cup 2003/04 competitions. Abandoned matches will not count. The TFF 'week' will run from Tuesday to Monday and will include any games played on a Monday night. Key contributions to goals will be awarded at the sole discretion of the judging panel appointed by the Telegraph. Points for key contributions will not necessarily be awarded for all goals scored and in some cases the judges may award points to two players for one goal if they consider both to have made a key contribution. A key contribution will not necessarily be awarded to the last player to touch the ball before the goal scorer and may be awarded for opposition own goals. The judge's decision shall be final and the Telegraph will not enter into any correspondence regarding points deducted or allocated to players.

why? the Telegraph does it for you.

Sorry I meant to say that he put the scores into spreadsheets and works out our transfers.

He gets the scores from the paper.

I do exactly the same for our office with the Times competition.

If you pay yor fiver (£10 for the Times) you see nothing back from it. If you all put a fiver in a kitty in the office, you can have a big prize for someone at the end of the season.

It takes me about an hour a week to sort it out once the teams are entered in the spreadsheet. I'm contemplating transferring it to a database this season, but running out of time!

People doing transfers are a pain in the neck, though, as I haven't found a simple way of doing them yet (well, more simple than the way I deal with them now, which seems to take too long to sort out!).

The game with a squad of 15 mentioned earlier is probably the Premier League one, which I also have a team entered in (it's free).
