Telegraph Fantasy football

IS anyone else doing this.

It costs a fiver to enter and for that you also get a DVD and 52 page guide as well as the usual stuff.

I just entered my team, can't be bad for a fiver.

Might give that a go although don't you have to get the Telegraph once a week for some reason?
I'm doing the cricket one and think i'm doing quite well but i hate the telegraph so cannot make transfers.

Not as far as I can tell, the website seems to allow you to do everything you want.

I've been playing the Telegraph for 4 years now.It improves every year, it was the original(of 400,000 people) and i think they've got a good system if you don't want to be 'hands-on' every day(my brother came 3rd in our mini-league of 30 last year and he had 15 subs left out of 24)

2 years ago you had to wait 2 weeks for an update but they do it online every wednesday now.You have to read the paper for the pass every wednesday but someone on here (me) will post it if you can't be arsed to buy it.

The only complaint is that they are not very up to date with real-life transfers.Jeremies for instance is not a Chelski player yet.

Having said all that though ,the Champion is our nominated Chairman and he wants to change to another Fantasy set-up this year.He's actually just proposed it this morning and an internet debate is raging.He has a system (i'll get the address soon) whereby you have a squad of 15 and only 20 transfers per season.It's a bit more 'hands-on' (you can change the team round all you like depending on who's playing that night) but people are arguing against it because many don't have computers available to them daily.
+ the league is updated daily but people liked having to wait till wednesdays for some reason.

you need to nominate a chairman ,who will set up a league name once he's entered a team,then we can all join after he provides the password.

Two friends(John Trigg,Chris Walters) in Brighton run a good game called www.freefantasyfootball.tv.
Go to it,have a look,it's for 4 leagues (Prem,Bundes,LaLiga,SerieA) and is a quality game.You can pay or do it for free.I'm entering a team there too.Worth a look.

We do a mini league at work based on the Telegraph.

There are apprx 70 of us in it. Friends and family play as well. We pay £5 each and one guy (Bless him) works out the scores each week and e-mails them out.

My son came top last season (with a little help from his dad) and won £150.

I came fourth and won £20.

£170 for a tenner.

Wy wife spent in one afternoon (mostly on my son )
