Gave Brighton a mention

He sanded the floors in my house a few years ago !
Decent guy - but says he was treated badly by the club at the time. Made to play with a dodgy knee or summat..
I think he puts vodka rather than milk on his cornflakes most mornings though...
I remember being at Brighton station waiting for the Seagull Special to Wrexham, 1st game of the season, (78 I think). Anyway, Teddy Maybank was entertaining the supporters by having a go on a kids skateboard. Alan Mullery spotted what was going on & went f***ing ballistic!
Incidentally we drew 0-0 I think & it was f***ing roasting hot. The high point was the train being attacked as we pulled out of Wolverhampton Station on the way home.
5 quid return including entrance, happy days.
I f***ing loved the Seagull Special!
I was on that train, my first long distance away trip. Pretty sure it was only the travel for a fiver though.
Well, time plays tricks, but you get a pint for under 50p!
Paid £3.45 the last time i bought a pint.
I quite liked him for his effort and he had a great footballing brain, just didn't have the skill to go with it.
