Right here, right now
I would like to see:

Sullivan

Whing
Hinshelwood
Elphick
Richards

Fleetwood
Virgo
Johnson
Thornton

Murray
Forster

But I have a funny feeling Fraser will be in centre midfield with Virgo at right wing again?!?!

Fleetwood said he was happy to play on the wing.

Id like Virgo at CB even more than I usually do as I dont think Elphick or Hinshelwood can cope with Akinfenwa in the air.

We had SIX central defenders on the pitch at the end of the away game in the league earlier this year and yet NONE of them could stop him getting a headder from a corner in injury time so I doubt it matters who plays there!

Agreed.

Thornton has gone back so he won't play(!)

My team:
Sullivan
Whing
Richards
Virgo
Hinshelwood
Loft
El Abd
Johnson
Cox
Murray
Forster.

Anyone know when Livermore will be fit? I would like to see him established in the holding midfield role.

The basis of my selection is that Virgo will play - regardless of where he is best and Fleetwood is our best option on the right at the moment.

You want Loft right midfield? And I'm presuming that you mean Richards on the left and Hinshelwood in the centre.

Although it pains me to say this, but Whings distribution is a million times better than el abd or fraser, so I would plump for him.

Time has come to play Robinson and Loft or they might not bother being here.

If this is Johnsons last game then he has to play ( I would try and extend his loan ) and I also think Cox is drinking at the last chance saloon. When doing the radio stuff last year I was lucky enough to chat with loads of different journo's etc and to a man they all rated Cox as our best player...this season he has gone backwards under Adams IMHO.

I disagree about Whings distribution. He often just hoofs the ball up the field, nowhere near one of our players.

I think Cox is often unfairly criticised, and currently he's better than anything else we have on the left so unless we get someone else in I think he'll stay in the team.

which is why we have a place like this, where sometimes people disagree with one and other.

so where is the creativity coming from? By playing el abd and fraser, you are in effect having a back 6. You cant ask Johnson to do it all himself.
