Looking at this game...perhaps we should go all out and run at them. Yes we are light years away from city, but they are taking the game to villa and running through them at will.

I personally don’t think you can play Connolly and maupay together at the same time...they are the same type of player and both want to play their type of game.

I would be more inclined to play maupay and aj up front with Bernardo in midfield when at home.

Gives us more attacking options.

Be very interesting how we set up against villa next week.

6-0 now BTW

That starting XI should be the default for remaining home games v teams not in the Top 4

You can if you keep them either side of an experienced and 200+ career goals centre forward

I don't think who plays is as important as improving in the final third. It's one of the biggest flaws we have, and all the tinkering in the world won't change that. Whoever plays, we need to see improved decision making and improved execution from them.

Any 11 that look up for it will do me. Go at them from the off and keep the pressure on for as long as we can so they can't settle. They should be brittle after today's working over.

I’m just back from Liverpool, great weekend, great city.
After watching that yesterday how any sane Albion fan can seriously pick Duffy or Stephens in a starting 11 for next weekend and then ask them to ‘out-football’ Villa is beyond belief, or they ought to be in bed by now.
Same team that started v B’muff.

My one query was Duffy or Webster but opted for Duffy as a better defender.

I might even start with Murray ahead of Connolly and March for Ali J, but I don't have a say in the matter

Why was Connolly not in squad yesterday? We battered Villa up there til the sending off. We are a better side. We have to get at them early and attack - they’ll have negative frail confidence after today.
