It's about time Lopez got a go in the middle, where he excelled last season. This is even more the case with Orlandi, Stephens, Agustein and Crofts out. As much as I like JFC, he's been given enough chances to show that he can pick and deliver a forward pass that hurts the opposition, and he just hasn't done it. This is something that is SD's strength.

I'd go for this formation, operating the same as Chelsea, I'd probably play JFC or Andrews instead of sLopez.
