Strongly disagree with the first part of that.

The eldest of that quarter is only 24. Three of them are no more than 80 games into their careers, and they have fewer than 400 games between them. One is only in his second season as a first-team pro, and one is in his third season.

For me, that's nowhere near enough experience to form a solid unit. They need at least one set of experienced shoulders in there. And I feel it's also part of the reason why our defence has been such a shambles this season - there's no-one on the pitch with the experience or nous to organise them in the way that, say, Andy Crosby or Danny Cullip or Guy Butters could.

Plus a decent reliable keeper behind them.
