Hoskins unlikely to make the game, so swap him for Bergkamp

A bit harsh not including Sparrow in the squad at all as I think he's had a good pre-season.
To be honest I forgot about poor old spaz, perhaps he would make my bench if Hoskins is still struggling for fitness...

I think Sparrow is an extremely good player, every time I saw him play he seemed to make things happen, so he has to be in the first team in my view,

I get the feeling Sparrow will play a big role this year.
Clearly is a class act as he showed at Swindon away & Charlton away last year.
Last season he was picking up lots of knocks and injuries, if he stays fit this year though, I think he'll play a major role.

Yeah, I do hope so anyway. Great player.

I'd imagine this is what it will be but with Buckley on the bench instead of Navarro.

2 key questions for me

Does he start both Noone and Kaz? I suspect not in which case Noone ends up on bench and Sparrow replaces. On the other hand Donny are widely tipped to struggle - it's our opening game and maybe it'll be a Posh like "swarm all over 'em" approach. Rest of the team pretty well picks itself

2nd thing is how long it takes GG to get sent off :lolol:

I think Sparrow might be first name written down followed by Dicker, CMS as definites.

You could very well be right. Doncaster are particulary strong on their right back position (better than the Albion, probably) and I would not feed the left side.
Doncaster Rovers | Team | Profiles | James OConnor

They have a young foreign right back as well who is meant to be quick. He might play to counteract Lua Lua and then find he is not playing ?

I know the visitors should do the worrying, but there are no mugs (certainly not Doncaster) in the Championship, but nothing much to fear either (certainly not Leicester).
