Probably get flamed….but
Burnley are beatable by our quality B team.
Give our A players a good extended rest and send a full A force out against Derby.

Wont be a popular opinion I grant you.
But screw it ….. I really really really want to win the cup most of all.

As much as I’d like to see Bernardo start, how realistic is it considering he played 120 minutes 2 days ago in his first outing since a hamstring injury?

In my tiny little mind, this game could be huge for a number of reasons, lose it and the relegation battle is upon us, win it and we can afford some breathing space which could give us the opportunity to go full strength against Frank Lampard’s Derby.

So a draw it is then !

I suspect that's the most likely result. Burnley are on a good run and will be happier with a point. It's not quite a 'must win' for us (eg a draw here and wins in our next three home games would be fine) though we'll all feel deflated and edgy if we don't get it.

It will be a battle, so I'd expect Bongy back and Beram in if Dale's not ready to return.

Knocky did enough in my mind to warrant a start. Would give March/Locadia a rest too.

seeing that Andone will be suspended I cant see Locadia & Murray both starting on Saturday. Murray to start Locadia held back as sub and March or Ali J to play left sided role

Ryan
Montoya Duffy Dunk Bernado
Stephens / Kayal
Gross Propper
Knocky / March - Ali J / March
Murray

Could see a return to 4-4-1-1 as in the cup game

Knockaert played well, for sure (against WBA’s teenage reserve full back) but I hardly think that ‘warrants’ a start, over March, who was superb last week in the Premmier League game against Watford.

I reckon Chris will go insane and play a team of:

Ryan
Montoya
Duffy
Dunk
Bernardo
Stephens
Propper
Gross
March
Locadia
Murray

6 or 7 unbeaten ..judging from SB's opening post dot could play a key role
