I’d like to offer to buy you a new calendar mate.

Since I started coming to the Amex with my Son and a few of his mates (Chris Hughten's last season) I always thought that it was a great crowd here.
This thread has just confirmed that you're the best supporters in the f'n land (all bar one anyway ) and I am proud to call myself one of you.
Another kind offer from Chicken Dipper this time, to buy a replacement calendar (not the first on this thread) is more than I thought would happen.
I'm not as hard up as I made out in the O.P, just tried to shame the calendar lifter. (Who is probably a decent person, he/she supports The Albion after all). I have declined all the brilliant offers to teach myself to look after my shit!!

If it's any consolation, my son and I found a brown leather handbag on the path to the university. We hung it on the pole of one of the lampposts, and about 50 yards further up a young lady came racing down the path in a state of panic, looking for the handbag.

I know this doesn't help you with calendar-gate, but perhaps this example of the balance in the universe will make you feel a bit better.
