I get mine at world of ink by shoreham train station, his name is Steve is very good (mind you everyone would say that about their tattoo artist!)

Of the two I know of in Lancing, Keepsake and Oscar Jacks, definitely avoid the latter, I've heard some bad things about it...
My sister and her boyfriend got their tattoos done at Magnum Opus in Brighton and they all look excellent.

Not many good shops really. Get in to Brighton, lots of shops there.

I've had quite afew tattoos done and been to a few different artists. I would personally recommend nine in boyces street Brighton they are very good

A lot of my friends have had their tattoos done at skin candy on baker st in Brighton near the level. They've done lots of top quality work.

There's some great tattoo artists in Brighton. I've been doing some research into getting my first one too. I'll be a late starter at 37.

If need more ideas and can wait a few weeks, there's an international tattoo convention in London over the weekend of 28th, 29th and 30th Sept. I'm going up on the 30th, (under 14's free).
