With his scoring record I reckon he'd have a better chance if he were trying to miss. That Lallana chance was piss easy he had his Liverpool shirt on there
It is strange he constantly scored from the edge of the box for them in four years we’ve had what one? With his scoring record I reckon he'd have a better chance if he were trying to miss.
He scored one goal in all competitions in his last 3 seasons with Liverpool. It is strange he constantly scored from the edge of the box for them in four years we’ve had what one?
I can only remember him scoring for us three times the whole time he has been here, would be surprised if he managed three last season. He scored one goal in all competitions in his last 3 seasons with Liverpool.
From a quick look on Wikipedia, seems to have dropped off a cliff around the same time his appearances started declining, so maybe linked to injury problems, position played, confidence etc.
Last season was his best (with 3 goals total) since 2016/17 when he scored 8 in 35 appearances. Assuming Wikipedia has his stats right.
Just checked the source for the wiki article, that is correct, unless all of the stats sites are wrong and have decided to arbitrarily claim Lallana's scored more goals than we think:I can only remember him scoring for us three times the whole time he has been here, would be surprised if he managed three last season.
I seem to remember him being a decent free kick/penalty taker at Saints? Maybe I'm imagining it. His finishing has been piss poor for years though.
He's not a traditional FB is why, he's a wingback.I’m not sure he has a best or natural position. He lacks the physique, strength and pace to be a traditional FB in the PL
Connor Bradley was one of the three and he was their best player.Considering Liverpool have their GK and 3 of the first choice back 4 out, I was expecting us to attack in behind their fullbacks especially considering the success in the opening minutes
FFS. I had Airfix models that lasted longer than Tariq Lamptey.Injured again… sadly you just can’t rely on him at all
He’d have to be world class for us to keep him with his current injury record. He has been fine when he has played but getting him to double figured appearances each season seems unlikely.I think he’ll be moved on in the summer if anyone will take him. He’s always injured and hasn’t shown enough in the last 2-3 years when fit to warrant keeping him here.
Doubt anyone will buy him, I think he will be released and a Championship or European team will take a punt on him.I think he’ll be moved on in the summer if anyone will take him. He’s always injured and hasn’t shown enough in the last 2-3 years when fit to warrant keeping him here.
