An interesting thought. How many Albion players have left to go on to bigger and better things? Off the top of my head I can only think of Mark Lawrenson, and maybe Michael Robinson and Gary Stevens. Latterly, Bobby Zamora.

Define "better things"?

Dean Hammond carved out a decent career for himself at clubs who were generally around or just above us in the Withdean years. Steve Foster won the League Cup at Wembley with Luton. Danny Wilson did it twice: with Luton and Sheffield Wednesday.
