Bozza, what sort of impact is Tapatalk having on advertising revenue? Hope you don't have to remove it!

Difficult to say since installing Tapatalk coincided with me putting further ads on the site. But the good news is if the revenue from the existing source has dropped off, it's been more than replaced by the money coming in from the other ad units. So, all good and Tapatalk will stay.

Hi Bozza/anybody else,

Wondering if you might be able to help. I'm using Tapatalk on an iPhone. I have it set to view 50 threads on one page. When I get to the bottom of a page and scroll down to load the next 50 threads it seems to miss out about 12 hours of threads, i.e. thread no. 50 has a time of 10.00 today, thread no. 51 (after scrolling down) is timed at 00.30 today.

I have tried another forum altogether and the problem doesn't seem to happen on that one, any ideas ?

This is happening on the Latest view in Tapatalk, the Forum view works fine.

Although it appears to me there is a time gap it may actually be a block of threads that are being missed i.e. 25/50 threads.

Ta,

Nick

Ta,

I'm afraid I cannot help, and although I find tapa talk an excelllent and far more efficent way to read North Stand Chat on a smart phone, it can also be eractic for me as well. Hey ho just adds some randomness to what I read and reply too.

What's the difference between a 'Favorite' thread and a 'Subscribed' thread?

Just signed up. Seems good so far - quicker than the PC.

And best of all, when you look for sports forums under the sub-section soccer (sic), sorted by Popularity, you get:

3rd Place - RedCafe.net (ManUre)
2nd Place - Bluemoon (Man City)

First Place - North Stand Chat!!!!!!!!!

Anyone know how I start new threads by using tapatalk?

You need to go into the specific forum rather than the more general 'Latest', so from your main menu (on iOS anyway)...

- Tap North Stand Chat
- Tap 'Forum' at the very bottom
- Tap 'The Albion'
- Tap 'The Big Board'
- Tap the arrow at the top right and select 'New Topic' from the menu.

When you do something "hilarious" like close NSC is there a way you can display this in Tapatalk rather than it just the generic error message it gives Bozza ?
