What a ride today from the 25 year old British rider from Hackney in the Giro d'Italia.

3 times up Sestriere and pipped the Aussie Jai Hindley on the line despite repeated attacks from Hindley on the final climb.

His ride up the Stelvio Pass on Thursday was also epic and some of the best racing I have seen for a while (he was pipped by Hindley that day).

Tao is now level on time overall with Hindley going into the final time trial tomorrow.

Incredible achievement.

I posted on the cycling thread about their stage on the monster Stelvio Pass. To a backdrop of snow, the field crumbled.

In 126th place on Stage 1 and finished in 1st place only at the end of the final stage (3 weeks later). This was the only point he held the outright lead. Fully deserved the win. Great effort by Hindley as well.
