With statements like this I guess you'll have to point out how you got to 'in excess of 12m on transfer fees' then, because thats clearly bollocks.

Kev's statement reads to me that Gus has spent this much since his arrival and I have to admit I am struggling to find that figure.
I would say that since we have been in the Championship Gus has spent half that figure at least, on CMS, Buckley, Hoskins, Ulloa and Dobbie.
This is without knowing how much he spent on Harley and LuaLua.
Add to this the signing on fees that he would have been paid out for Vicente, Crofts, Orlandi, Lopez, Bruno and Kuszczak. The fee's involved in bringing Bridge, Hammond and Upson to the Amex and at least four loan deals the previous season, on top of this. Then Gus really has had huge financial support in the Championship when you compare it to Palace and Watford.
Assuming Kev is talking about since Gus has been here, then you must add the signing of Noone, Barnes and Greer, But I am still struggling to reach 12 mill.
But I say again in my opinion he has had huge financial support with what else the club has had to be pay out for during that time. TB has really backed the selfish tw*t to the hilt, if that is the point Kev is trying to get over.

Kev makes up anything he likes to satisfy his slavering, lustful anti-poyet agenda. 6m on cms (2.5m), ulloa (2m), buckley (1m) and hoskins (500k). Then there's Crofts (300k), lualua (500k), noone (250k), greer (250k), dobbie (350k), harley (300k). He's spent about 8/9m TOPS - which over four seasons isn't a huge amount compared to the rest of the division. I've come to the conclusion that poyet should (and will) now go, but that's as a result ofthe relationship deteriorating beyond repair - but Kev has wanted him out for years, because he's foreign. Facts to the contrary of Kev's opinion are gleefully ignored and discarded, in favour of purposefully inflammatory voxpops from one of the biggest bellends around, Adrian Durham. Some people aren't worth listening to because they're simply incapable of reasoned discussion. They just repeat the same old clichés, louder and louder, and hope it makes them right.

PH - Well, it's odd whats going on at BHA
AJ - Yes very strange, what with getting on playoffs last year
PH - Well we'll speak with Tim Vickery soon, and find out whats going on in South America, and....

I'm hoping thats not it..!

Probably lucky to get even that with their track record.

Same old 'its a shame' etc.

More interestingly Naylor states we have 28k STH.

Naylor seems to think that there's no way back for Gus, but I think most of us feel that that is the case anyway.

Nothing other than that to report.

Durham is the only jock on that station who has got a scooby about things outside the prem and he said weeks ago, he can't see what all the fuss is about over Poyet because with what he has had, he has been very average.

You DO realise that Durham doesn't believe 90% of the stuff he actually says, right? His M.O on Talksport is to say a derrogatory or unbelieved statement that then prompts 'discussion'. The very fact you AGREE with him is brilliant :lolol:

A typical Durham statment on Talksport:
"To be fair, I would say Wigan are a bigger club than Arsenal because they won something". Queue 100's of van drivers calling in going "Oi. That Durham knows nuffin yeh?".

Durham is clearly not cut out to be in the public eye. I used to follow him on twitter and his reaction to anyone that disagreed with him was pathetic. Despite the fact he was obviously spouting bollocks just to get a reaction.

He blocked me because I was laughing about his prediction qpr finish above spurs. He also spent ages saying arry joined qpr too late to save them. I pointed out the rubbish he signed and he not only took them down but with massive debt. The clincher was when I quite his tweet saying the biggest problem for spurs was that AVB won't know how to get the best out out of bale. Well player and young player of the year later I linked to a redknapp article saying bale best at left back. It turned into a good discussion until he realised he had lost so blocked.
