I thought it was a great protest when Kaepernick did it, but it seems to have lost its meaning though.

Now it's just a great way to spot the biggots who boo.

I loved what Kaepernick did. The whole flag shagging bollox in the US needs calling out but they aren't ready for it. Cost him the lot

It does amuse me at the amex where 80% applaud it, 15% ignore it, and the rest fold their arms very aggressively across their chests. For that reason alone, I'm in
Haha not quite. The most I’ve seen would be about 30% applauding . Most just respectfully watch

There’s a few near me who don’t like it but rather than get angry they just take the piss and laugh about

Keep it or leave it . I think it barely causes opinion these days

Well, obviously the North is more woke than the rest of the Amex

Martin Tyler (and others) after the first few weeks invoked one thought; "Yes, we know what they're doing, that's fine, just commentate on the match!"
I would well imagine Tyler and every commentator were under strict instructions to mention it. If they didn't no doubt they and whoever they work for would be accused of 'ignoring' it and by ignoring it they would also be accused of 'racism' such is the sensitivity surrounding the subject.

Yes, I'm damn sure you're right!
