Say what you like about Take Prat, but they are completely unique in music history (no not for being shite). Name me one single other group who:

1. Reformed years after splitting up and came back more successful and with critically acclaim for their song writing that they certainly didn't achieve first time around.
2. Brought back an estranged member of the band with whom they will potentially be enjoying even greater levels of success and an album that has been hailed as their best yet.

(if anyone agrees with this post, rather than responding with 'This' as has become the norm on NSC these days, I'd be grateful if you'd respond with 'That' in homage to the five boys in the band as I'll demonstrate below)

That

Oh please get a grip of reality. The man has had two number one singles and a number one album as a SOLO artist. How is that a failure? He also writes his own material and has been responsible for countless other hits that you probably wouldn't even realise he wrote.

I couldn't even tell you one of his songs where as I could at least name one Robbie Williams track (probably more if I thought about it long enough) which is who he is always going to be compared against. So in that respect his solo career was indeed a failure.

I'm biased by the fact he is by far by favourite human being in the world, but I would say Gary is currently the greatest living musician, and a certain other member of TT has a hell of a lot to thank him for.

And it's me who needs to get a grip on reality is it??

Man alive, the day a manufactured pop star targeted at teenage girls and homosexuals becomes the most talented man in music is the day I stop winding up my gramophone!
