thought that the idea was that the club would take early applications from those wanting a ticket for wherever we ended up on the away leg but there were no refunds, now they are saying that some unsuccessful applications will be held back in case of 'returns'.

if i had known i could have returned a ticket to the away leg if i couldnt go (eg Hartlepool away on thursday night) then would have put in for one ages ago

all very confusing.....come on Wednesday post!!

if regular away travellers dont get one it's a scandal

they should have made us keep stubs from the likes of tranmere and Stockport, cheaterfield etc
Sorry. Everyone had the opportunity to apply for away tickets by post two weeks ago. If you didn't take it, blame no-one but yourself if you don't get a ticket now.

Absolutely - I took a gamble and applied as the monkey-hangers away mid-week might have been a hard one to get to.

Depends how committed you are.

Anyone have a happy surprise in the post this morning? Left before mine arrived so no joy for me yet. No swipe of my credit card yet though either. More tense than a camping site !

Exactly, Anybody who hasnt got a ticket for the away game has no one to blame but themselves, we applied 3 weeks ago when we were first invited to, when we didnt know who wed be playing. The club also stated that applications would be processed by date of receipt.

If youdidnt apply because you were worried wed get Hartlepool midweek then its your tough shit! Stop Moaning the club got it spot on this time!

The club have got it spot on! as most people are saying, its your own fault if you dont get a ticket!!

Applications were being invited 2 weeks ago!!!!!!!!!

and if you only sent your application last week, then surly its not rocket science to work out that the people who sent off for their ticket 2 weeks ago will have a better chance of getting a ticket than someone who sent off for theirs last week!!!

As you can tell i sent off for mine 2 weeks ago and i phoned up club shop yesterday and they confirmed to me that ive got a ticket so im happy!

The shop also told me yesterday that I had a ticket-my only worry is the post getting through.
When we went to Norwich boxing day, I hadnt received my ticket. Told the club on the 23rd or something and they rang through to Norwich a list of those that had paid for tickets but not got them in the post. I imagine they would do the same again for sunday.

It was £13 for the Stratton Bank when we played there in December so unless Swindle are doing a bit of profiteering, they should still be £13.

Come on postie!!
