The club have done it well, they announced it early and said it would be done on a AMS first come first serve basis.

If you used your common then as Hartlepool only holds about 800 then even if you could not go there making an application made sense as you were always going to be able to sell your ticket on to someone who could.

Well as part of the application process was to include a SAE as long as people were not doing impressions of Spurs, then they should get them on time.

Yes, yes they should.

Yes but two weeks ago it was still the possibi;lity of hartlepool away at 4pm on a Sunday.

Who could have dedinitely said then that they were going to the away leg????

All a case of taking a punt wasn't it. My thought process was that it was most likely to be either Swindon or Bristol City because I was thinking we would finish 6th. Since i live in Bristol these wouldn't have been too hard for me to get to on a midweek so I went for it. Turned out alright given that it was Swindon on a Sunday so I am lucky.

I was already planning a visit to my company's office in darlington if it turned out we were having to play Hartlepool - I just had to come up with a reason to justify it which I am glad I didn't have to do !

Lord Bracknell's play off summariser was pretty useful to work out the odds of where the game was going to be.

I sent mine in on the first day applications were invited so should be fine. But that doesn’t stop shitting it waiting for the post.

If it doesn’t arrive tomorrow I may cry

Absolutely - I took a gamble and applied as the monkey-hangers away mid-week might have been a hard one to get to.

Depends how committed you are.

What about those who COULD NOT take that gamble, like us, when they were originally saying, until after the Wrexham game, NO REFUNDS!!!!

For the price of, let's say 15 quid, wasn't it worth taking a chance? If you really want to go to Swindon and somebody has an extra ticket-you'd probably pay a premium to get your hands on a ticket wouldn't you? (not touting BTW 'cos my tickets haven't arrived yet?).

Have to agree with everybody who have said that the club got it right this time-even though I'm still waiting on Postman Prat to deliver my tickets if I've been allocated them. I applied when they first announced the arrangements so hopefully I'll get what I requested .

If you didn't do the same, regardless of reasons, blame nobody but yourself I'm afraid.

when did u reply?

i have to agree about regular away travellers though i'll be pig sick if i dont get 1 after all the money iv spent this season!just the one week when we had boro and hartlepool in the same week and i drove up and back both times for a start.only problem is u get the games that are ticket and pay on gate and then i usually pay on gate but if i thought it was gonna get me an advantage for games like this i would make sure i applied for tickets for every away game.but i probably dont count for this arguement anyway cos although i go 2 nearly all away games usually miss 2 or 3 a season but cos im new and not in the clique i probably dont count as a reg away traveller
