Chances are there will probably be plenty of spare seats. Our small allocation is out of spite (only 1,000 Swindon tickets for the Withdean game), not because they'll sell out the Country Ground.

Wankers.

I get the impression Swindon fully expect to sell out...

Erm, that's 15% of Withdean's capacity, which we HAVE to give them. It's not our fault Withdean is a tiny little ground!! Far more Swindon fans will be able to attend the overall tie than Albion fans.

Really? Fair enough then.

They're still wankers though, for complaining and not giving us 15% of their capacity. Their average crowd this season has been about 7,500. Capacipty of the County Ground is 15,000. Hmmm.

Can I disagree again then? We're getting something like 2,100 out of 14,500. Which is not a million miles away from 15%.

We just have to concede that in the playoffs, an opposing team would rather sell tickets to their fans than ours. And if that means sticking us all out in the open, whilst retaining the roof for their fans to make some noise. Well - it's just all part of the game unfortunately.

Fufuxake Safeway, don't get STROPPY. Swindon are not behaving unreasonably over this - our allocation is perfectly acceptable (twice what they will get) and it is not THEIR fault that our ground is shite - it's a Brighton problem.

And if you're going to talk about average crowds then how come we've been getting 6,300 all season (600 short of capacity) and now everyone is clamouring for tickets?

Assuming our capacity is 6996, I get the impression that we are severely over-subscribed for the home leg so thinking that all 5,000 season ticket holders apply and get their ticket, and that Swindon take their full 15% allocation, and that the clubs take about 300 complimentaries (dgnataries, sponsors, players wives etc), |I'm estimating that there could be fewer than 650 tickets available to the BHA supporting general public .

and these could well go to non season ticket holder postal applications first,.

Could there be no better argument for Falmer than this travesty

True true. Where are those "I can't be arsed to go to Withdean anymore threads"

(I don't think Safeway is getting stroppy BTW - just pointing out the inequalities.)

Surely they can't have sold all the tix for the home leg at Withdean. After season ticket holders and Swindon have got theirs, then there must still be a few hundred left for the rest of us to go on sale on Saturday morning? Anyone know any different?

Spoke to the shop on Monday AMS can purchase up to tickets from shop on Saturday. Any unsold tickets will then go on sale to general public on Monday

Everyone should chill out a bit. Both games are on Sky, giving everyone ample opportunity mto see the game with their mates. It's not as if all anyone who doesn't have a ticket is getting is Hawesy on the radio.

I think that, while it is unfortunate, it has happened to people a million times bofore and as has been said, makes an excellent case for Falmer. I was told by someone I believe that we could have sold 22,000 tickets for the Chesterfield championship decided. Think how many we could have sold for this game!

And don't forget, it will be a piece of piss to get tickets for the finala s we roll Bristol City over and storm back into division one! :clap2: :clap2:

Helen why didn't you put your application in ages ago like everyone else did?

I will have a word with my Swindon mates and see if there are any more going.

Phone them up and they will confirm if you have them. My two are confirmed as being mine, but the Post office is my big worry!!

Easy to say that when you know your tickets are GUARANTEED, innit. ;)

When we played Hartlepool away in the league I missed have missed all the threads about people worrying that there may not be enough tickets to go round.
