Swindon home tickets unlikely to go on general sale

How come?

Club site says season ticket holders could claim their tickets up to yeaterday (one per season ticket holder). Then other tickets would be available to AMS and Junior Seagulls from tomorrow morning by person at the club shop.

The maths just doesn't add up even taking into account the increased allocation for Swindon fans. Wjhere have the 600-1,000 tickets gone?

I am very angry!

Sorry to bounce this again.

What did they say kevin? Did I miss something or read the club website incorrectly? I can't call the club shop now because I'm at work. Was anyone else here planning to go to the club shop tomorrow morning to get a ticket?

Ohmygod I am so pissed off

Someone please tell me it's not true.

I know of THREE people who were going up tomorrow to get a ticket...

Where have they gone? Is DK entertaining guests?

I rung up the ticket shop and was told because Swindon needed some of the North Stand they are only selling to Season ticket holders at the moment.

Just rung the ticket office and as Richy says they told me that they haven't had time to re-locate the North Stand season ticket holders whose seats are being taken by Swindon and those in F block whose seats will be taken by the Sky cameras. So nothing can happen until this has been done. Its not like they didn't know this was going to happen is it ?? What happened to a bit of forward planning :dunce:

Oh they told me to ring again on Monday to see if there's any left. Presume the website will be updated next Friday :shootself :shootself

So no point in going down tomorrow morning then. I needn't have rearranged my whole weekend so that I could get down early to the club shop.

Bloody hell!

I sit in North Stand Block S and am being moved to make room for away fans. I sent in the application ages ago but it has not been processed yet. I have just spoken to the club ticket office and they said they are doing them today.

If they are processing the moves today it may still be worth trying for tickets tomorrow as they may have more of an idea what is available.

Might still be worth going tomorrow and pleading ignorance.
Make a bit of a fuss about getting time off, arranging your weekend around this, etc and they might hold your tickets for you!
Just a thought.

Yeah thanks hb&b. I got one for last season for me and my 12 y/o stepson, but what with his football training Saturday morning, albion saturday afternoon, the lad's football matches Sunday I wasn't getting to see the rest of my family much at the w/e (two other kids). So this season I've just been able to go once a month or so. It was either that or divorce.

I verey rarely get angry, but rearranging my weekend has been bloody complicated, and it seems I did this for nothing.
