Swansea v Horsham FA Cup Replay

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
Swansea home to Havant & Waterlooville in the next round would and should we let OGH play. He is unlikely to be needed by us in this cup.

I am quite certain that he is not in our plans at all and a prospective client would not be left in the FA Cup. Sad to see him go, if he does, but there is part of me that hopes he can fight back and play for us again.

Good game for 40 mins, shame Horsham had a dodgy 5 mins at the end of the half, but you could see from the effort they were putting in that they were going to get knackered quickly. IF they could have turned round at 1-2 it could have got interesting IF swansea didnt score early after the break. However they were a credit to the Ryman League over the 2 games

Back from Swansea at 3am this morning. Up for work at 6.30. WELL worth it.

Might have ended up a spanking but for 30 glorious minutes the LARDIES lived the dream.

My son also returned at 3am this morning, and wasn't too keen on getting up for School this morning!

Great Cup run, let's hope some of the cash they've made goes towards a push for promotion.

I'm hoping my son arrived back at 3.00am too, and made it to college this morning! I haven't heard from him yet - but texts during the game suggested they were having a cracking time.

Hope he wasn't the YOUTH who got nabbed by police before the game had ever started but was let back in when he looked like he was going to cry...

Is Farrell the deaf chap?

He's played in sides with a few of my postie chums.
He's always been able to bang in goals, and has trialled with The Albion, a few times, but they just can't make his hearing (or lack of) work at the higher level.
Doesn't stop him living and breathing football.

Good luck to the bloke he did really well in the Deaf World Cup earlier on this year.

What a cracking day following the Lardy Boys...and girls...all the way to Swansea.

Foe 30 minutes we gave as good as we got...but class told in the end. Still, a memorable event, that will live long in the memory banks...singing away for 90 minutes...!

Not sure how I managed to get to work today and stay awake, but worth every minute. Grass roots football at its best!

The magic of the Cup has been alive and kicking in Horsham this year...hope the Albion can follow suit.

Hope it was as entertaining for the Sky watchers as it was being there!

Yes indeed - I saw him playing for an Albion Deaf Team in a competition a few years back. He was class.

Proudly wearing his gold medal having scored the winning goal in the 2005 Deaflympics Final for Great Britain.

Lee Farrell celebrates his match-winning strike
The Great Britain men's football team clinched Deaflympics gold in Melbourne after a thrilling 2-1 win over Iran.
A 90th-minute winner from top scorer Lee Farrell, his 11th goal of the tournament, sealed the victory.

GB had taken the lead just after the break through Glasgow's Stephen Gardiner but Iran equalised with five minutes to go ensuring a tense finish.
