Swansea park and ride

Driving to Swansea this Saturday and notice there is some park and ride gubbins in operation. Did anybody use this service last season!? Any comments apart from £5 per car is a bit cheeky!?

we were going to go on Saturday, and off to Golf in Cardiff Sunday Monday,but the 1:30 KO and the fact that wales are at home means the traffic would be horrendous ( and we cant get a B&B for love nor money)

I can't be bothered to drive over from the Diff. The M4 traffic around junction 32 is crap and at £5 per car, the rail ticket is way cheaper.

The park and ride has been taken over by Pikeys, last year we parked near the ground on the big Shopping site, there are signs saying that you get a fine for parking there, but we had no problems. Common sense says that you show no colours, and do a little bit of shopping. Also last year Swansea used the Town Hall car park for away fans park and ride. I saw in one of the daily papers yesterday that some git is taking a Swansea resident to court for protesting about the Pikeys on the carpark, say that he is a racist! Which tells me that the Pikeys are still in residence.

The park and ride has been taken over by Pikeys

It looked dodgy last year, so we parked in the ARC Carwash, five minutes from the ground, just under the bridge on the left. It was a fiver and was good as gold as the carwash blokes were friendly and they were there throughout the game.

One told us not to wear our colours "because there are some right nutters around here" and we wondered what it is with the bloody Taffy's ?
No one in Brighton would ever need to advise visitors against wearing their colours.
