No way. Why should black players be made to come off and not the others. As soon as it started last night i was really hoping Beckham would tell them all to come off. Sven The Spineless wouldn't do it.

I believe the Spanish fans did it because the Spanish press had been stating that the fuss about their Manager's racist comments about Thierry Henry were 'just a way of the British Press winding up the Spanish'... and didn't think it was at all bad. Which is pretty wrong in the first place. So the 'fans' deliberately decided to taunt the England players as a retaliation for our press (for once) correctly highlighting that a person in such a lofty position should be apologising for such outdated and ignorant comments. Like Beckham said, they don't usually do that*.

it shows more strength to stand carry on playing in such situations than walking off.

To be honest, I wouldn't credit those racist tossers with the intelligence to make a point like this through their dispicable monkey chants.

These people are cowardly scum who hide in the anonimity of a crowd to make their pathetic monkey noises. They wouldn't dare do that noise in the street face-to-face to a black person, but in the safety of a sporting event, with a barrier between them and the person they are abusing, they feel secure enough to indulge in their sick little game.
