Horton's halftime iceberg
Blooming Marvellous
Big game today, fantastic win in the week, Somerset are also a brilliant one day team, win this and we will be looking good for a semi final place. So although this fixture alone makes a great final, Lords could still beckon as a show piece affair.
So before we start discussing teams and preditions, I got soaked walking the dog up at Hollinbury Hill Fort this morning while it was still relativley dry down the road in Brighton, do we have any weather predictors or Horsham locals who can give us a local weather update. I hope we can play this game and if so won't be shivering to much around the boundary boards.
This was the side that beat Surrey so well a week or so back:
Joyce, C Nash, Gatting, Goodwin, Yardy (C), Hodd (W), Arafat, Aga, Liddle, Panesar, Kirtley
I imagine a win for Somerset would be enough and leave us chasing best runners up spot (Notts have 13 in second at present).
1 Somerset 8 16
2 Sussex 9 12
3 Surrey 8 11
4 Lancashire 10 8
5 Unicorns 9 8
A rained off game would be a right pain.
