Sussex cricket advice please

Sussex are playing the Netherlands in a Pro40 on the 2nd May. I haven't been for ages so I don't know how popular this is likely to be.

Do you think it will sell out and should I book and pay for the tickets now?

Or will it be OK to pay on the gate?

As far as I can see from the website if I pay now and it pisses down with rain there are no refunds, so paying on the day is favourite, unless it's likely to be a sell out.

Any advice much appreciated!

Early May is not a great time to watch cricket in England - too fecking cold .....
There will be seats a plenty. FACT

Unlike this week which has been GLORIOUS for watching the lads in the nets!

Thanks for the advice guys. Early May may not be the best time but unless you can get the Albion to reschedule the Huddersfield game and then get Sussex to move to mid summer then I don't have a lot of choice!

Sun, I can get here.

Cricket, I can't.

But if you could just organise some decent weather I would be very grateful

Sorry, one more question. Is it worth getting the Pavilion upgrade for the game (five quid?)

dont see why not, the whole Pav has been re-designed aswell so worth a look around.

For a fiver. and as Marc says it has just been refurbished, then the facilities, catering and beer will be better, plus if it pisses down, then you wont get wet, then I would say it is worth it.
