Please i really hope i am wrong, but like many do you fear the lose of Mushie and Rana, could ruin our title hopes? Adams has got us playing well. Thank you Lords just stay away from Yardy,Kirtley,Prior and all.:albion:

can i ask why we would lose mushy as he is not in the pakistani squad for the tour of england?

Reading the article in today's Argus he would clearly still love to play for Pakistan again despite the 2-year gap since he was last in the side. And with the start he has had on not particularly dry wickets plus the fact that he is already on English soil, who's to say that he wouldn't get picked again. Good spinners of the ball seem to go on and on, whatever their age.

absolute tosh in this thread...

the core Sussex CCC "team" numbers 50+

it is the special spirit running through the whole club and the way that the best players can play with confidence and freedom in a supportive environment that gets the results...

on these early season bowler friendly tracks Mushy and Rana are grabbing the headlines - there's plenty of time for Goodwin, Adams, Prior, Yardy etc to play their part again - and the other bowlers aren't too shabby either...!!!

The only way that Mushy will play for Pakistan this season is if they have a freak crop of injuries.

He was recalled into their side after his 100-wicket season for us but didn't do very well and was quickly shunted out. Test sides these days don't include many players of Mushy's age and I think he'd only play if there was an epidemic sweeping through the squad.
