Strange approach from Sussex. Looked happy to just nudge it around whilst the run rate rocketed. Orr at 3 and FHP at 4 given their experience and lack of game time in this year’s competition was a mistake. I’m aware of their second 11 form, but the pressure of a first 11 game verses better bowlers is a huge difference. They needed to be eased in! Even more baffling after Ward and Ravi’s recent games.

Well played to Seifert though. 100 not out. Last half of those runs coming off 18 balls… the exact intend needed to start the innings.
