I think another striker is essential to be honest. We've had no strikers on the bench in the last 2 games, which shows us how thin we are in this area. Bergkamp and Agdestein haven't done enough to convince Gus for now, and it would be great to have a different type of forward to give us more options.

During the game last night Barnes was getting treatment with the possibility he might come off. At that very point I would have said yes to another striker.

CMS was getting booted all over last night, pretty sure with a decent striker on the bench he would of been taken off for his own safety. We need one for sure

Barnes - hes been good scoring goals and finally have a penalty taker
Hoskins - have to wait till match fit, but we know he can score goals
Harley can play there - came in as a midfield and will still there i think
Agdestein - i would of liked him gone on loan to gain exoerience in a 1st team

overall i'd say yes to another foward i dont think its 100% needed and wont be dissapointed if one doesnt come in but would be nice to have a proven goal scorer at this level or even in prem if gus could pull that off.

I don't think we need one, but if we can get a top class one then we should.

Hoskins - probably 2nd best
Barnes - always does a job
Agdestein - not ready
Bergkamp - seems to be an issue there

So that only really leaves us with 3, I think you need 4 to be a top side in this division. Such a shame we didn't get Phillips.

The fact that Barker was on the bench last night seems to have gone unnoticed. Bergkamp and Agdestein injured or has Barker moved ahead of them in the pecking order?

Less than a week to go till the window closes. I think we will be pleasantly surprised and end up with 2 more new faces, 1 the striker and I think we'll get someone who can cover the back 4. Difficult one for Gus now though as he's got to convince someone that they are going to get in the team. I can't think of anyone who deserves to be dropped and are the type of players we want going to come down knowing that they aren't going to be dropped straight into the team ?. Going to be a difficult one to keep people happy, especially with only 5 on the bench now. When all fit some very good players aren't going to make the squad.

I don't think it is necessary, but Gus still seems adamant he wants another. But I think we will be fine with what we have got. There is always the January window, should we find we do need to strengthen in the end.

Who knows when Hoskins will be fit? Ruled out for Sat (along with Will Buckley) already. Really frustrating for all concerned no doubt but increases the need for another striker, even if just a loanee.

I think we could do with an experienced, old fashioned centre forward to come on when all else has failed which we could have done with against Blackpool.
