Anyway we will be getting in a new striker, we will be trying for some more Premier/first division club loan players and players will be coming to us on loan throughout the season as the need arises. You heard it hear second - as all these have been spoken about by SC himself!

Yeah, funny that how zamora didn't feature in pre season and was then sold and now Cullip hasn't played too much.

It makes you wonder if Coppel is just trying to see what other options he has, I would also put money on a new player coming in almost immediately after as with zamora and roberts to cushion the blow.

Cullip is injured at the moment - seeing as he was skinned for pace badly in Division 1 at times I doubt he'll be moving.

Besides when he was last on the transfer list no club was interested in buying him.

I played footy with my Chelski mate last night, the Leon deal was complete news to him, he couldn't believe it and thinks we've done v v well, and even with the imminent arrival of Raul etc he wants Leon back from us at the end of the loan spell to nurture him into the top drawer striker he knows he will become

He is still without a club. His contract at Gillingham was not renewed and hasn't lined himself up yet. Surely he wouldn't be asking for too much cash, and I'm sure he's still only about 25.

I could see him and Knight looking like a very dangerous partnership.
