Best coverage was C4 with Marv Levy co-commentating, an NFL legend

Because all Americans are so FAT they have to stop every 10 seconds for a breather

George Carlin used to say that an NFL game was everything wrong with America in a nutshell -- mindless violence, with a committee meeting every thirty seconds thrown in for good measure.

What I want to know is, does this mean the Cup Final is going to be on NBC, CBS, or ABC?

I may have my US passport revoked or something, but I'm New England born and bred, and watch, maybe, 60 minutes of Patriots games all year, total. And of their last three Superbowl appearences, less than that. I lost all interest in the NFL back in Nixon's day, when it became the de-facto state religion, and he was phoning up the Redskin's head coach to suggest plays.

Nowadays my pet peeve is NASCAR.....

So this is what my TV licence is for.

I want to watch my own nations sport. Like rugby and cricket.

Failing to secure the IRB RWC is the Beeb's biggest failure.

What a f***ing shitfest.

If you had read the whole thread, you would have noticed the NFL are letting the BBC show it for free.

And lets face it, look at the CRAP they but on the BBC on a Sunday evening anyway.....

11pm - Some crud film from 1983

12:55am - The WEATHER

1am - A repeat of Holby City

2am - A repeat of Child of our Time.

Now I'm not a American Football fan, but having the BEEB showing the superbowl for FREE can only be a good thing. Unless you're specifically turning on to watch HOLBY CITY for the 3rd time this week, I doubt you'll be too bothered.
