Thunder Bolt
Silly old bat
I don't I just look at all things #bhafc
Fair enough. Talking of Twitter and changing the subject slightly, have you seen his tweet about his leg?

I wouldn't back that even if you put a zero after the two.

Who's tweet?
Isn't he already at Charlton?
Has he not gone to Whitehawk?

A fair reflection of what JB was saying, I think. He wasn't suggesting that players weren't trying, more that a change of manager does unsettle players, especially if they were happy under the previous regime.
Most of us must have been in similar positions in our own places of work. Takes time to get used to the new boss. Sometimes you end up liking them more and being more productive.
So does this confirm Poyet's ambition or desperation? An alledged team of boozers who got the last boss sacked before he started. One point all season. Restless but fanatical support in a town where going to the beach results in hypothermia rather than a chilled out latte and the papers. And he starts against Newcastle and we all know how well Gus does in derbies.
If I was Pardew I'd be having a chicken vindaloo in the Bigg Market on that Saturday night in the urgent hope of squeezing one out the second the teams get in the dressing rooms.

Poyet always beats Newcastle, whether as a player or manager.
His first game would be Swansea at the Liberty Stadium.
The BBC have now picked it up:

Interestingly, for the first time they don't say he was "sacked live on TV". Glad to see that lie is finally disappearing.
Remember his first game in charge for us a smashing 3-1 win at Scumpton
It could be that some of the players are trying too hard to impress and don't feel as comfortable as they had been and are making mistakes as a result. It's often players take time to adjust but other players find the transition easy
