Four games, all with 2pm kick-offs, and only Brentford v Everton televised. Not like our game's paymasters to let three advertising opportunities slip through their net. Anybody know the underlying reason? Asking for a friend (seriously). Just seems a bit odd

Early games played at the same time probably because of the midweek games, avoiding to give unfair advantages (hours of rest) to those playing early compared to those playing later. Just a guess.

It's nature's way of saying two live TV games in one day is the path to a coronary at worst and a fat arse at best. I'm going out for a long mournful walk before the later TV game.

Will be being televised all over the world for £€$¥ so I doubt the paymasters are too worried.
