Spread Eagle 15- Amici Athletic 1, thank god it was a cup match. We didn't have our full squad out because of illness and injuries in the camp what led to the thrashing.

So I started. Did ok for 90 minutes, I was quite alert inside and outside the area, had a few shorts on goal and then thankfully scoring from a corner. into the bottom left hand corner of the net.

Into the later stages of the second half, out of no where when Spread Eagle were on the attack, a brown greyhound ran across the goal mouth and across the Waterhall field into the road.

I didn't know what to happen to it, but it was so weird.

won 5-3. Played well again but let down by suicidal defending. We were 4-1 up and nearly let them back in but fortunately managed to sort it

Beat 6-2. 1 goal coming from myself with a tap in from a free kick, And I had a fantastic header disallowed due to the fact we had been given a penalty for no apparant reason. Think I may well have to look for a new team soon.

Yes I scored, it came to me about 8 yards out. I hit it first time, and scored into the botton left hand corner.

We also hit the bar about four times, we looked quite dangerous going forward.

I don't want to happen to it, but it was so weird.

I can't believe we lost by that scoreline. We were quite good going forward and managed to hit the bar 3 times and force a number of good saves from their keeper.
Unfortunately that's the scoreline you get when you play a side that would beat you by 5 goals at least even with your best team out. Unfortunately over half our side were injured, ill or couldn't be bothered.

We lost 3-2 for our first defeat of the season. I'm missed out again through injury and I'm getting extremely f**ked off with my f**king hamstring!

What were they like? They were in our league last year and were probably the dirtiest team I've ever played with one of our players getting his leg broken from a horror tackle and the game having to be abandoned.
