We had a nightmare start to the season - conceding 26 goals in our first 2 games :lolol:
But it turns out that the team we lost 14-0 to on the opening day fielded a few unregistered players so we've been awarded the three points.
We're slowly improving so hopefully we can give you guys a game tommorow. Whether we'll remain in this league come the end of the season remains to be seen.

So we actually did recieve those three points?

I'm looking forward to it aswell, hopefully I'll get on aswell.

Same. We have a few guys missing tommorow I believe but we have loads of players so it shouldn't be a problem. Is it 9:30 meet?

I had hoped to retire from Sunday footy by now, having played through all 5 leagues of the Worthing & Horsham League over my 12 year career with Worthing Leisure, but when they folded last season my work team asked me to turn out for them. Keeps me (semi) fit I suppose. I expect I'll be playing at the back somewhere tommorrow, although I was used as an emergency striker the other week, and picked up my first ever booking!

Dunno if they have improved since we played them last but GSK Sports were the whipping boys of our league about 3/4 seasons a go!

We've got The Hub today... but sadly I won't be playing because my hamstring, initially thought to be pulled, is in fact torn which means I will be out of action for 4 months at least, apparently. I'm so gutted! The skin around my hammy is literally black from internal bleeding, its not a pleasant sight!

Anyway, good luck to all of yas!

It was getting silly at one point - the same guy hit the post 4 times for us today! Wasn't a great game but we were happy to come away with the points after a poor start to the season. I was marking your #15 (Damo?), quite a strong player but only scored the one goal after our keeper went walkabout and took a wild airshot when attempting to clear a backpass....
