We had a real six pointer today against our title rivals and won 8-1 to go top, they only had 10 men though!

Tank Jnr's team had a 6 pointer today and won 4-2, they are now top of the table!! We're enjoying watching U-11's, much better than mini-soccer!

Well I lost 5-2, and it was MY FAULT, for letting in a rubbish one at 2-2 with 10 minutes left. I thought I'd tipped it over, but it hit the bottom of the bar and came down over the line. Me OUT.

When my dad stopped playing for Worthing, he played on Sundays for his work's team, Link Miles, a firm that was based on the Churchill Industrial Estate, in Lancing. Their home ground was the recreation ground in Sompting Road. (This was in the mid-seventies.) I used to watch him play. I remember one game, away at Brighton Spread Eagle, when the goal posts were on either side of a hill and it was impossible to see the one goal when standing by the other.
