Mrs Jakarta had a little difference of agreement the other night as I was compiling my funeral music and I'm not quite dead yet..

I have 3 hymns I want playing but this is my incoming tune, bless you Vini...

Sir John Deanes School hymn, Founders day was a miles walk down to Witton church when 600 or so oiks belted this out ( found many years it was Sir Winstons favourite)

I once worked in a pub that was run by a big corporation and they didn't allow us to have control over what music was played. We had a box that would play company selected songs over the PA and could only control the volume.

During a very sad and sombre wake, the playlist lined up a trio of I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor, Staying Alive by the Bee Gees, and Another One Bites the Dust by Queen. By the time the bassline for Queen kicked in we made a decision with the family to just cut the music and have the wake in silence. That was just as awkward if anything.
