who do you think is the strongest team that are not in the big 6 leagues in Europe . and where do you think they would come in the premiership ?

i heard a bit about Estudiantes of Argentina and there meant to be pretty good . i believe they only lost to barca 2-1 a.e.t .

who do you think ???

Top 6 leagues in Europe?

Spain, England, Italy, Germany, Portugal, France- followed by Holland and Russia I guess?

It's easy enough to say the big 4 leagues but the last 2 is a bit more complicated.

Discounting the 8 I've mentioned you'd have to say Shakhtar Donetsk based on recent performances in Europe. They'd challenge for a UEFA place in the Prem. Couldn't see them cracking the top 4 though. Could they handle a rainy, Tuesday night at the Britannia?

The standard of football in the Argentinian leagues isn't great- Estudiantes would struggle in England.

I was at that game. Veron ran the midfield but you knew Barca would eventually triumph bit like the Arsenal game last night.

Agree the answer you are looking for is Shaktar Donetsk. The World Club Champs that has been held in Abu Dhabo last 2 years is quite a good yardstick. The South American team Internacional didn't even make it to the finals this time around losing to African champs TP Mazembe.

Shaktar would finish top 4 in Prem.
