which is now the priority seeing as 2 of our centre midfielders are now injured?

should the wages of

Knight 4k
McCammon 2k
Jarrett 2k
Kuipers 2k

be pumped on a creative midfielder or should we continue trying for a striker which looks like a non starter (if we had to choose)

Unless we get both we are screwed.

I'd rather not put our survival in the hands of a left back, a signing from Hastings Town, and a player that hasn't delivered all season.

A couple of weeks ago I would have siad Striker, but having given it a bit of thought I am inclined to think a midfielder would be of more benefit.

What even after all the missed chances again on saturday

I have been saying midfielder for months, I still think that we have enough forwards capable of sticking the ball in the onion bag if they get decent service.

I personally though we created enough chances on saturday to win more than one game, however no-one has that killer touch in front of goal

Finally people see our need for a decent midfielder who can weight a pass and give the strikers the service they need. If we played to our strengths and used the pace we have up front, then we wouldnt need a big target man striker as we could keep the ball on the deck

I think you are over estimating the amount of money our players are on.

I doubt if any of our players are on £4k a week!

As its highly unlikely anybody will sign on loan why not give Loft a try

4000k a week = £208,000 a year for a bottom of the championship side. I doubt we would be able to afford more than one player on that sort of wage.

Its the service provided to the strikers that enable them to score goals.

Chippy has been good for the club, but if you watch most games he will put the ball out wide and rarely slides a ball through the defence for one of our strikers to latch on to.
